Stone & Stitch Art Contest
Spring is an inspiring time of the year! Life is blooming everywhere. This months contest is Poetry! Your child can pick any format that sparks a desire to keep writing. Choose a favorite and send it in. Neither spelling nor punctuation will be judged. Unless of course you Haiku.
As always, this contest is art for the sake of doing so.
This contest is for any child under the age of 18.
The contest begins now and is ONLINE ONLY.
You must have your entry in no later than April 30th, 2026 11pm
Send entrees to

The subject line should say, "April 2026, Poetry - Child's name."
Email must have, First and last name, age, title of the piece for the certificate, should you win.
Share this everywhere and anywhere a child could find it.

Presents.....tips to direct causes.
One of my favorite things I do
is this art contest.
Monthly I put out a prompt and receive back art of all kinds, from children in every age group and ability. From nonverbal, 6-7 year old novelists, to sibling videographers, who created a stop motion animation rocket launch. The prize for this contest has mostly been 1st 2nd & 3rd places totaling $100 with the exception of a few times others wanted to add to the prize total! My goal is to use the money I receive from tips to directly benefit the art contest and other endeavors related to expanding that branch of the mission,
